Rounded walls coated with traditional Moroccan tadelakt and intensely coloured natural earth, paved terracotta floors, refined satins, soft music from distant lands and wafts of oriental perfumes transport you to a serene and enchanting atmosphere.

After a hammam session, carry on relaxing in the gentle, oriental atmosphere of the chill-out room. Try the traditional mint tea with rose or try something completely different from the « Tea for Tous » range, an Egyptian karkade or maybe a more classical cup of coffee with an oriental pastry. The view over the green hills will both revive and soothe your mind. Let yourself be transporte with music from the Orient in a warm setting straight out of the Arabian Nights...Following the example of roman baths where the library held a privileged place, a recess library is at your disposal.

In good weather you can sit out on this charming, shady terrace overlooking the valley and make the most of the surrounding sunshine and unspoilt landscapes enjoying a juice or cocktail made from fresh fruit or vegetables, a light refreshment, a cup of tea or coffee, an oriental pastry etc...

La Fleur de Vie is located in a typical charming village, in the heart of the “Vezere Valley” also called the « Valley of Humankind » registered as World Heritage with UNESCO and recognized for its wealth of cultural heritage, from prehistoric times through to the Middle Ages. The world famous “Lascaux caves” in the beautiful village of Montignac is 15 km far from La Fleur de Vie.

You will also enjoy visiting the medieval city of Sarlat (25 km), the most beautiful villages of France (St Amand de Coly (20 min) et St Léon sur Vézère (10 min)), the city of Périgueux (step on the route of Santiago de Compostela with its byzantine St Front Cathedral,) or the 1001 castles of Dordogne. The area is also a number one destination for “green tourism”, with its lush and generous landscapes offering an ideal setting for walking, hiking, horse riding, canoeing, swimming etc…
